MEMORIAL For DRUMMER: Michael Anthony DiMauro
April 21, 1960- December 31, 2015
COMMENTARY:
by
Saint Pierre Concert Art Shows honoring a seasoned professional
passionate musician & performer. Michael passed away on NEW
YEARS EVE finishing up the year... finishing up his earthly
life... at the age of 55 years old, after his brave fight with
the human enemy, cancer.
"We will miss you, MICHAEL... for the joy that you
brought to many"!
Concert Art Shows remembers the gala fundraising event THE
IRON BUTTERFLY CONCERT on MAIN STREET to "HELP THE KIDS", and
certainly the 3 tequila Mexican planning parties with our crew
of 15 & band members. WHAT FUN! Michael's current project was
IRON BUTTERFLY ALL STAR BAND because original member, Ron Bushy,
had serious health issues. Michael provided the back bone beat
as one of the most professionally fit members of great
performances with this band. Condolences to the family and band
members Damian Bujanda, Orlando Larios, and Eric Barnett. He was
known as "MICHAEL THE MACHINE" because his drum artistry was
always so perfectly on meter timing in the rock beat genre.
There was true passion in his music. He was an amazing drummer
providing the group with solid "clock work" and creative
percussion. Michael was gifted with this skill since eight years
old. His academic achievement includes study at The Percussion
Institute Of Hollywood. Director Tim Pedersen presided as
Michael's private instructor and mentor. His credits include
Sonny Mone (Crazyhorse/ Neil Young), Dean Dinning (Toad The Wet
Sprocket), and many more. His last known performance was Amigos
Cantina, with a big thank you to Mike Toler, tim Timothy Kerzie,
and Luke O'Dea, owners & operators. It was a great last
performance for Michael Anthony DiMauro.
