IZABELLE DE PAZ: "GOES TO COLLEGE": Izabelle has lots happening in her life at 18 years old, including a 4 year grant to Otis College Of Arts & Design. She's a 5 Star student with honors and private art instructors at MusicAndArtForYouth.org    She makes little kids HAPPY. She's got an amazing network of friends & family supporters. She is already a success with a DREAM to get a great education in graphic design, THEN land her DREAM JOB at Disney Animation.

OUR TV TRAINING CLASSES: Conservatory TV Production Classes are at the CAPS Media Center for TV training.  Thank You To All That Are Investing in the Next Younger Generation 9- 19 Years Old ::: Saint Pierre says: "They Are a Better & a More Sound Investment Than Wall Street".  This is our first training session of the season.

THE IZABELLE DE PAZ ARTS AWARD: This 18 year old visual and graphic artist has a vision & dream to work at the Walt Disney Animation Department. At her interview, she presented her art works including paint work, sketch work, and graphic design work. It was all very impressive. There were over 15 family and friends that attended her interview in support of of her nomination. There is a bright future for this young lady, anyway you look at it. In October, Izabelle was awarded a student scholarship for mixed media arts, communications, visual arts painting & sketching, art gallery hanging, show & exhibit set up training, ARTS EXPORATION and graphics development.       >>>See Izabelle's Scholarship Wish List

THE ANIKET RAHANE MUSIC AWARD: This 14 year old classical guitarist is excited to grow into performance & creativity. He has gained his classical guitar skills from Teacher, Master Manuel Rodriguez at The Buenaventura Classical Ensemble. We have presented Aniket with a professional Cordoba C7 Classical Guitar, case, & digital tuner. The instrument package was the generous donation from recording artist, John Gregorius of Tuscon, Arizona. At Aniket's interview, the panel viewed numerous competitions that he had won. He also presented an array of excellent reference letters. We see lots of potential in this young man. We are exploring classical music writing arts & classical performance arts as part of this scholarship.

SCHOLARSHIP STUDENT AWARD EVELYN CLEROU: From Ojai, California, Evelyn is 14 years old and is amazingly gifted is various art forms. Her talented skills are Make- Up Artist, Theatrical Artist, Dance Artist, Music Performance Artist, and there's so much more, like singer- songwriting. She attends our WAV Art exhibits and workshops. There is a bright horizon for Evelyn for making a contribution to the cultural arts community. See her perform her arts in our upcoming shows. To know her is to love her arts... DANCE ARTS SCHOLARSHIP AWARD: Leeza D (she is pictured above with her paintings too) She says ballet is her passion, and that when she dances, it is what she loves. "Ballet makes me a stronger and better person". She has a bright artistic personality with a fine quality of dancing. She has been finalist in a National Dance Competition with thousands in the TV audience. She is an amazing visual artist painter as well. At 17 years old, she has already decided to be a professional dance artist. She is filled with determination & strength to succeed. We believe she has an outstanding opportunity with a double scholarship in both dance arts & the visual arts. For two years, Leeza has had amazing success at the "Intense Dance Theater" at UCSB.   >>>See Our Shows

DANCE ARTS SCHOLARSHIP AWARD: Alexandra D (as pictured above) has been dancing since 2 years old, and at 15 years old, she has a huge dream to become a world class professional dance artist. She says: "I can not live without the ballet". This young lady insists that she will accomplish her life's dream to become a professional. We believe her! Both Alexandra & Leeza are sisters. They have been accepted at the world famous Perm State Ballet School in Russia. >>>Check Out The School    These are our first international student scholarship nominations. They live at the WAV (Working Artist Ventura) USA which is their home. Both girls were in our Concert Art Shows in 2010. The both have sweet personalities with the most valuable attributes, including humility, obedience, and determination. I have worked with them personally in our WAV shows. Their beautiful supportive parents are Marina (mom), and Sergei (dad), both with a four generation rich heritage in the dance arts.    >>>See Our Shows

SCHOLARSHIP STUDENT AWARD:  THE MIRANDA ROMERO SCHOLARSHIP AWARD: When Miranda was 19 years old, she was awarded our student scholarship for music arts including vocalist, singer/ songwriting, recording, music video, percussion, and performance arts . She has written original songs through her poetry. She has a beautiful baby who's name is "Jackson". Miranda is currently taking courses at Ventura College. Her family has had some tough times in the past. Miranda relies on the public bus transportation system for getting around since she has no car. Her parents have been a huge support for Miranda to succeed in our program. She has won numerous vocal competitions, and sings at her church. Miranda has a good opportunity ahead. LUCY JANE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP: This multi- art scholarship 2017 was approved unanimously by our board of directors. Lucy's interview, presentation, and art portfolio were exceptional. Many exciting activities & events are happening in the community for her. Lucy excels in the arts with outstanding support from her single parent mom, Stephanie. Lucy's curriculum is "Alternative Accelerated Education" in the cultural arts, driven by experiences around other professional artists in the community. She is meeting hundreds of new people that love her art. Lucy is developing her social & communications skills through her involvement in our shows and events. This young kid artist really thrives on the freedom, identity, and the spontaneity of our program.   >>>See Our Current Events

THE LUCY JANE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD: is visual arts painting, sketch, and graphite charcoal drawing; plus undetermined other mixed mediums, with an added supplemental exploration award for music & guitar. We help the kids determine in what areas, their efforts produce the best results, and the quickest creative growth. Congratulations to both Lucy and her mom, for this exciting new development in their lives. Lily B Nominee Visual Arts & Music ArtsLily B Visual Art

MUSIC & PAINTING SCHOLARSHIP AWARDED: Lily B (as pictured above) is an extraordinary child at 11 years old. The family was homeless with their 4 children in times past. Recently, they were given a home in Oxnard, and are on their way to recovery. Lily's talent and skills are far beyond her age group. We have witnessed Lily perform vocal music & paint with passion. Last Christmas, Lily raised $2000 doing street performances, so that the family could buy Christmas gifts and have happy holidays. Lily has performed and exhibited her art publicly in Ventura. Her interview here was exceptional. We believe that Lily will succeed in the student scholarship for both music arts & visual painting arts. THE ANTONIO BARRERA VISUAL ART AWARD: The kid entered our program at nine years old. Antonio Barrera was nominated by his public school teacher, Laura Newman. He was awarded an Visual Art Scholarship for instruction in sketch pencil and paints. Canvas, acrylic paints, easels, lighting, and brushes were provided with his custom scholarship. He has produced and sold his art works, "Crystal Dragon"  & "Abstract Face" in our exhibits. Thanks to his first private instructor, Susan Colla for her teaching efforts.   >>>More On Susan Colla Artist    Antonio has been interviewed at our shows many times on stage before our live audiences. The entire family participates in Antonio's artist involvement. With First Friday art tours, our students have learned to integrate into the art community. Antonio entered four years of our private art instruction program. Paid professional art instructors are from Bell Arts and WAV (Working Artists Ventura), Michele Foster, Elaine Bryant, as well as  Ramone Byne from Art City.

This kid artist has completed many other pieces like "Ocean Scene", "Under Water", and his first abstract, titled: "Milky Way". He works with painting on professional canvas with acrylic paints. Pictured above, (left to right) is "Horns Of Night" which is a collaboration with the late, Teras Tulek, 3 D art work. He also painted on the real size surfboard (pictured above) titled: "Surf Life", as an alternative medium. Ventura County "Ocean Scene" is installed in the Ventura County Government Center with County Supervisor John C. Zaragoza. This teenager is now well on his way to being a professional kid artist. Our Scholarship Students, Teachers, And Families!

THE ADAM SORTOMME MUSIC AWARD: At 15 years old, Adam Sortomme was awarded the Gifted Vocal Performance Scholarship, along with training on 6 string guitar, 12 string guitar, and then on electric bass guitar. In addition, he progressed extremely well with formal vocal training. He performed many times on the Concert Art Show stages. Thanks to his first instructor, Jodi Farrell.   >>>More On Jodi Farrell Instructor    In the next training phase, Adam was trained to write & structure original songs. He learned verse, chorus, and bridge placements. Even more of his advanced training was proficiency in blues scales & pentatonic scales with various music keys on guitar. In the final phase, Adam worked in the recording studio with his original songs. Thanks to instructor tk Tom Kwake.   >>>More on tk Tom Kwake Instructor   Professor, Bill Macpherson (music college instructor) donated a Fender bass guitar for Adam's further education on this particular instrument. This student's future is bright. He was offered an Artist Development Program, to find his way in a professional music career. Adam began college courses presently at this time.

SAXOPHONE SCHOLARSHIP STUDENT AWARD!! This Performing Arts SAXOPHONE Scholarship Award went to Andrew Doyle at 9 years old. His parents were financially unable to provide an education for him. He is gifted on stage and entered into formal training with his assigned instructor, Tom Buckner.    >>>More About Tom Buckner Instructor     Andrew performed Saxophone arrangements professionally with Saint Pierre on the Concert Art Show stages. "This kid is truly gifted and well on his way in the music industry!"

Brandi Rose Lentini Awarded

BRANDI ROSE LENTINI SCHOLARSHIP AWARD:  She is a born singer songwriter performer that came to us at 13 years old. Brandi Rose Lentini, was awarded a performing arts professional career evaluation scholarship. Her amazing concert scholarship audition included a special appearance by Kimberly Ford, professional Jazz & Vocal instructor. Bradi performed her original songs to an audience filled with her fans, friends, and family. Her mom, Jennifer Lentini supports her greatly in her music carrer. Brandi's dad was cheering her, along with the entire audience. Many came from Santa Barbara to join in this Ventura appearance. Brandi Rose moved into music video projects & many professional music performances!

Emily Schouten Visual Arts Award 2013

EMILY SCHOUTEN VISUAL PAINTING SCHOLARSHIP AWARD: Emily, was nominated by Powerhouse youth leader, Courtney Hull. At 16 years old, her art portfolio was reviewed by our board of directors in the initial interview. It contained some delightful paintings with acrylic colors. The Visual Arts Scholarship Award was presented to Emily by Michelle & Tim Spaulding at a weekly youth meeting in Ventura, California. Emily applied for Cal Arts College Youth Program (CAP) in Valencia, California.
